im coming to the conclusion that musicians really are musicians secondary and marketing men/women first and foremost. in the olden days all you had to do was pretend to laugh at gordon the gofers jokes to shift units but these days its all about doing blogs to get some publicity. Im really struggling with the idea of writing what type of porridge im eating to shift some units. the only consolation ive really given to myself is that ive got no units to shift. so that begs the question, why am i dont this blogging thing. Most days ive thought, i know ill update the blog, then i just think, well fuck it, its really sad, then i think im just a miserable out of touch bufoon. is it shameless self publicity? Err.. I dont actually know coz im happy being anonymous, i think. Is it to drum up some interest in my six anniversary blog...err...yeah thats deffo part of it, i think. Or is my narcissism creeping up on me slowly.Well i think being a muso is defo the most narcissistic thing anyone can do. Im starting to believe sigmund freud was right all along......

I'm really interested in porridge !! Personally i like ready brek, gives you that orangey glow :) Sorry, you should know by now i can never be serious..
btw,whats your fave?
Right,i'm outa here!
I don't see how a blog is necessarily always a fluffy bit of self flattery. To me, it is:
1) writing exercise
2) showcase 'something' (ie. on my blog at the moment I am showcasing my favourite site airlinemeals.net)
3) clarify thoughts
4) share thoughts
Maybe Freud was right after all, but then what's the point of the novel or music or paintings?
i think it's fun watching you talking to yourself...in a peculiar way....(笑)
It's not narcisstic, it's just the weird way of the world. I'm a writer and the only way I can sell my books is by rambling a load of old rubbish on my blog to maintain people's interest.
You wonder how people sold things years ago....
